Sketchbook pages and Virtual sketchbook

 They are the deadly virtues, part of the Virtue alliance. They mostly work by themselves, but unite when times get though. Sort of like the Avengers...

 This is just some concept for a new character I was redesigning, she also has a pet Guinny, which are demon penguins. In the end she got short and is on the picture below, named Vanilla instead of Zenxura.

 The fiercest females of Havven meet at the Cardia Coliseum, where the strongest and dangerous, but mostly beautiful women clash for the biggest prize. Become Lust for a year.

 La Avaricia doodles from the other day, the setting is a casino, thats all imma say.

 Kinda remembered my ex and since she is based on Sky.. Kinda let her get a beating from Jax. Oh noes violence on womenz. Get ready to see everyone get hurt. Demons dont give a crap if you are male or female.

So I did this in a rush

Drew this lil quick doodle comic before class started, took me lik 30 mins.. I need to draw faster and better.
This is how Jax's and Tida's relationship works out, shes kind of angry all the time and well is an obvious tsundere.. Jax is kinda scared of her. This event will mostly happen in a certain story arc. Anyone wondering where Sloth is? Well.. thats a secret :3

Doodling digitaly before class starts..

I was trying to do some sort of lightning or just a sudden burst of light into a dark room... But I guess it kinda looks weird... I like the room a little but it needs more work, on prop design and structure.
Also.. this is a very special scene in Jaxman... Can you guess whats gonna happen (;

Sorry for not updating again

I've been busy with English class and just a few minor problems came out... And I havent even got close to drawing 6 pages per day, so I'll do this.. Updates for sketchbook will come every Friday and random doodles at any occasion. As a sign of my apologies heres a sketch of Jax and Tida being kawaii

Just a reference

Just a little thing I did for my friend, who might make me Jax's Hat AKA SLOTH so I can be Jax for Halloween :D Which is kinda awkward but I dont give a damn. It'd be so cool...
Specially since Jax is based on my looks.. and the things I hate about myself.

Oh and I didnt post last night because I kind of did something stupid, and also I was mostly planning the plot and other stuff... Next sketchbook batch will be posted tonight.

I'm goin' digital

I havent drawn the whole gang in a while, Itwas so much fun.

Digital inking

So I inked this sketch of Tida but.. Im not satisfied with it, I think its the coloring but just the ink and the color are bugging me the heck out!

I literally keep fueling my inspiration more and more everyday

I need to master the way of outlining digitally and finding the perfect color scheme to really bring out the quirky world of JAXMAN. If I manage to make my lines look legit I think I will have a massive chance to pull in people and slowly push myself to the levels of talented cartoonists like Nargyle, Heffy and even Endling.

How JAXMAN first started.

I could go on for days on how Jax came to be, but we have gone through so much change I'll start to the point where Jax and Sloth were a boy and an evil hat.
This was the first concept of having a kind of awkward hero with an evil mastermind as a hat with limbs.

Then my art improved a little and he got a redesign in clothing, along with this concept you can see super ancient Jax concept which back then was called Osky or Oky.

Eventually, I said to myself, what If I made a story similar to One Piece with a group of friends fighting along each other, and so I grabbed my favorite characters from all my imagination and stories and drew the picture above.

Eventually the characters and story began to grow on me, and my brain and hands kept drawing by themselves! Tida was kind of shy back then.

I was just in love with my characters and they just seemed to fit so well together that I decided to call my greatest most epic story yet: JAXMEN
And as my senior year ended, I promised to myself that I would rise and everyone who frowned upon my art and made fun of me will eat their words...
But before they did that... I had to get to improve my art first...
And thats how JAXMAN was born my friends.. (:

Virtual Sketchbook

Sketchbook pages Part 1

So this is how its gonna work now.

This is how I'll be posting my drawings in the 3 websites.

-This blog will be everything, I think I might start to scan every single page on my sketchbook, since this is a bit more personal. I promise every page is something good, I said to myself I wont stop a sketch even if I think it goes a tiny bit wrong.

-DeviantArt will be used only for my colored pictures and fanart.
Since I just want to increase my audience and see how people like my artz.

-Facebook will only be used to post personal pictures as well as selected drawings I think are good enough!

So stay tuned on JazyLax, I want to start updating at least 5 or 6 sketchbook pages per day.

So Im also using DeviantArt now!

I need to expand my audience so I will begin to use Deviant Art to broaden my audience, but Blogspot will have the doodles and stuff, Dev will only be for selected drawings

Time goes by quick..! Im in love with her. Shes just so charming and nice to look at, shes perfect for Jax in everyway. I hope you guys will enjoy their antics, like I do in my head.

Volume One Sketchbook Season Finale

So of COURSE I dont only draw what I post in here, theres pages and pages of doodles, trial and error, I usually post what I like the most. But heres a few selected doodles from my sketchbook, and also a few doodles of today's boring English class...

The future I dream of

I devoured my first "professional" sketchbook today! It only gets tougher from now on! But Jax and his crew as well as me are ready for any challenge that may appear!

Re-emerging characters

Oh yes! After a long year gone, the deadly duo of sexy-ish bounty huntresses return from the depths of my old sketchbooks! Shae and Karamel!

Shae is the one on the left and she is a sassy Caribbean girl, she can turn her limbs into any sort of ammo weapon.

Karamel is on the right and shes just Karamel, shes a badass and also related to someone in the cast, she can turn her limbs into any kind of melee weaponry.

Together they form a deadly combo taking down any kind of demon or criminal...

How will Jax and the rest of the guys take care of so many people after their heads?

So I was almost late to class today cause I was so into coloring Sky the other day, I colored with Copic first and then I went ahead and tried a bit of digital art, It was really rushed but what do you guys think?
